Winter scene above bridge
Poudre R Canyon 11/7/09
Quiet solitude of scene
hides the multitude of
rises of trout feeding on
Trico Mayfly spinners.
To Mom, who communicated to me very early in my life the way of deep woods, wild things, the beauty there in the verdent Oregon forests near Corvallis and Alsea; Dad, who taught me to love the Wyoming wilderness and the pursuit of the wily trout; my brothers Bob and Al, unequaled and lasting fishing companions; Margot, my daughter, and her mother, Charlotte; lastly, my sister,Susan.
